Get Your Surfboard and Spanish Dictionary

Break away from the traditional vacation. Visit Costa Rica where the tourists have not crowded out the sights and beaches. With 800 miles of coastline both on the Atlantic and Caribbean coast you have ample space for beach activities which certainly include surfing. The best surfing is on the Pacific coast. Spanish and surfing means learning Spanish or perfecting your Spanish, an asset to anyone nowadays, and surfing. Surfing is one of the most exciting sports going. It is invigorating and will get your body in balance.

Your Spanish and surfing vacation will be safe with qualified and experienced instructors and a low student to pupil ratio. If you are a beginner surfer no steps will be skipped to get you into the groove immediately. We assure you that your surfing skills will improve dramatically after a short time. After a day of Spanish and surfing enjoy excellent meals served to your liking. If you want to get in touch with your inner self with a bit of yoga, that can be part of the program too. The Spanish and surfing vacation will provide guides for day tours or a tour of the capital, San Jose, where you will find that the dollar still goes a long way. A small city that takes everything in stride without the rush you have been exposed to back home.

Your Spanish and surfing vacation will also make sure you see many of the famous sights of Costa Rica. That would include the volcano Irazu and the special train through the jungle. The sights from this train are breathtaking, deep valleys, gorges and mountain peaks are clearly visible. An old train journey like this will give you the flavor of colonial Costa Rica.

A Spanish and surfing holiday in Costa Rica is something to look forward to. Costa Rica a peaceful land with friendly people.

Yoga and surfing

Surfing, real surfing is indescribable. There's just something about it, and it not's the heart pounding, adrenaline pumping rush you feel as waves crash and surf spills about you. No, it’s something more than that. It’s when you’re waiting for a wave, you know that big one you're really hoping for? That one you can tell your friends you rode and rode and would have kept riding forever? It’s then, when you’re waiting ebbing softly in warm tropical waters that you look up and you see it. Pinks and purples and crimson colors impossible to imagine, you see the sunrise across Costa Rica and you smile. Your here. You did it. Your surfing.

Surfing is an art, it's something that gets in your blood and won't let go. Once you get that vibe, once surfing is in your mind and in your heart Costa Rica will call. Surfers from around the world know Costa Rica has some of the best and most consistent waves anywhere. In Costa Rica you’ll find oceans warmed by tropical sun, endless miles of coast line, and a country filled with an exotic beautiful culture. Costa Rica Vacations

I love Costa Rica vacations! Who doesn't love vacations, right? They are fantastic. However, I tend to feel guilty going away for an extended period of time. Sure, I get to relax and usually see with my own eyes what I usually take in from a picture. I do bring back my own great pictures and neat souvenirs for my friends and family. But still--the guilt of using up so much time unproductively lingers.

Recently I discovered a new way to vacation, and I'm very excited about it! You see, I feel guilty about my precious Costa Rica vacations because my time is so limited; I'm an overly busy person. But from now on when I decide take one of my plethora of Costa Rica vacations, I’m going to spend it learning something I've always wanted to learn. Think about it--so many people would love to learn to ride horses, ski, dive, surf or emerge themselves in some new hobby like yoga. And if my guilty conscience isn't wiped out completely, it will be severely diminished because I will be able to surf when I get back home! Many of the schools (like the website listed above) located in hot vacation spots also offer dual courses, so if I wanted I could learn yoga at the same time I'm becoming an expert surfer. So from now on, my always long-awaited Costa Rica vacations will even be productive!

Conversing in Spanish and Surfing in Board Shorts – A Montanan’s Nightmare

Imagine the feeling of sand between your toes. Imagine seeing crystal blue water and hearing the sound of the waves lapping on shore. Now, imagine your instructor giving you instructions in Spanish and surfing along with you. If you are like me, the next thought that runs through your mind is ahhhhh I fell off my surfboard while the wave crashed over the top of me and my handsome instructor is laughing in Spanish.

That was what I thought would happen when I went to Costa Rica as a novice in speaking Spanish and surfing was something this landlubber only dreamed of. It worked out for me better than that, although there were more than a couple of times when the waves got the better of me.

When You Don’t Speak Spanish and Surfing Is Only A Dream

Having lived in the mountains of Montana all my life, I wasn’t sure if going to a country where the native language is Spanish and surfing was our goal was the most intelligent thing we’ve ever done. But, when my friend suggested Costa Rica I couldn’t resist the idea of sun and sand. I thought surfing would just be another way to spend time getting a tan while being active. I took a Spanish class in high school, so figured I could get along. Little did I know I would soon be addicted to the beautiful romance language of Spanish and surfing, well let’s just say I’m looking for a way to buy a surf board. I know, I know, what will I do with a surfboard in Montana for heaven’s sake?

I highly recommend a trip to Costa Rica where speaking the native Spanish and surfing the day away allows the stress to melt into the sand and leaves you feeling refreshed, fit and ready to take on the world.
